Bookkeeper (Full-Time)

Responsibilities
  • Bookkeeping to Trial Balance, including accounts payable, daily bank reconciliations and journal entries, cheque runs and accounts analysis.
  • Calculate Fixed Assets, Depreciation, and Financial Statements in Excel.
  • Prepare GST, PST, WCB and Payroll Remittance.
  • Preparation of month end and year-end files for accountants.
  • Perform accurate and timely financial reports using SAGE 50.
  • Communicate effectively with clients in writing, over the phone and in person.
  • Other bookkeeping and administration duties as required.
Qualifications
  • Post-Secondary education in Bookkeeping.
  • Minimum 3-5 years of bookkeeping experience using SAGE 50.
  • Desire to learn, develop and improve.
  • Excellent organizational skills, prioritizing and task management skills.
  • Proficiency in EXCEL a definite must High degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Self-directed and self-motivated.
  • Problem solving experience and abilities.
